Hi there. My name is Andrew and I like to build things. I’m interested in backend software, distributed systems, servers (shoutout r/homelab), robotics, and IoT/embedded devices.

Outside of software I like messing around with 3D printers, road bikes, and reading.

I’m currently about a third of the way done getting a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Portland State University. I expect to graduate around summer 2022.

Before getting my Master’s degree I worked in the R&D group at adidas. I focussed on footwear manufacturing, with a prime example being the development and production scaling of 3D printed midsoles. And before that, I received my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly).
